My Journey

My path into cybersecurity has been fueled by a thirst for knowledge and a genuine curiosity about how technology shapes our world. I often joke that my brain is like a sponge—constantly absorbing new information, whether it’s about the latest security frameworks or advanced incident response techniques. This drive led me to earn the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, where I deepened my understanding of critical cybersecurity principles.

But my journey doesn’t stop at cybersecurity. I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse industries, including hospitality, retail, sales, and administration. These experiences have provided me with more than just technical know-how; they’ve equipped me with invaluable skills in communication, customer service, and team collaboration. I’ve learned how to adapt quickly, think on my feet, and bring a customer-centric approach to every role I undertake.

I bring a comprehensive skill set that includes proficiency with SIEM tools, the Linux command line, SQL, and Python. These tools allow me to manage and analyze complex data efficiently, providing insights that help secure systems against potential threats.

My background in hospitality has sharpened my ability to provide exceptional service under pressure, while my roles in retail and sales have honed my problem-solving and interpersonal skills. My administrative experience has taught me the importance of organization and precision, which are crucial in the cybersecurity field.
